For this year's G3PYE/P entry in the HF SSB Field Day, we decided to try and operate entirely from renewable energy - but in the high power category!

Between 600W of solar, three Ecoflow Delta 2s, and one Tesla, we managed to avoid starting the generators all weekend.

Including for the bean to cup coffee machine, which was entirely powered by sunshine!

A question for UK hams that may have access to the R.S.G.B. archives. In 1936 the ARRL's QST magazine described the rules for the W.B.E. or Worked British Empire. Under rule #5 (see image) they described a map that was printed in the R.S.G.B. Journal that reflected how areas were divided up in relation to the award.

If any of you have the ability to access Journal archives and provide this 1936-era map, I would greatly appreciate it!

I have yet to read all of @MW1CFN posts on #RSGB or @jj1bdx posts on #JARL but I have book-marked them. I think I am safe in assuming that #ARRL & RSGB (& #AMSAT-NA) all suffer from #CHOWG ... but JARL can't suffer from that given that OWG is "old white guy". So it's more generational than tied to race tho' I'm sure the gender part is accurate.

Need to start over, methinks.

And, for the record, I *am* a #CHOWG ... I just don't much care to hang out w/others of my kind!
