Diamond will likely skip a $140M interest payment due in mid-February. This will not bode well for local sports teams, who will not see a single rights fee paid to them until this bankruptcy plays out. This means layoffs, potentially. Diamond Sports is the parent of #BallySports #RSNs. That's a lot of NHL, NBA, and MLB teams affected.
