Turns out I looked in all the wrong places, I should have looked at #rspamd a bit closer:

Hat das zB jemand angesichts der Entwicklungen der letzten Jahre abgestellt? Gibt es alternative Feeds, z.B. von Heinlein?

Can anyone tell me how to write a #Rspamd Multimap configuration to set a symbol when an emails contains PDF attachments? I cannot seem to get the extension to match, no matter the approach. This far, I was only able to make it work by cloning and modifying the HAS_ATTACHMENT rule in rspamd.local.lua.

@tehabe Schön das noch weiter entwickelt wird. Dachte schon es wäre gestorben. Habe #spamassassin vor etwa sieben Jahren durch #rspamd ersetz und kann jeden nur empfehlen es sich mal anzuschauen.

@softinio It isn't especially hard. I use #exim, #rspamd and #dovecot. For sending, IP reputation can be a problem. It can be better not to use your own host for that but pass it on to whatever service you get your domain from.

@jwildeboer i just switched from #Spamassassin to #Rspamd. Currently I dont feel it works better and I have trouble finding the right settings so that mails are erased above a level. Documentation seems to be focused on special cases. But I believe it will be better. Habe used Spamassassin since I guess since it was released. And it was great so far. But every software has its limits. And new software can start from scratch.

Today: ripping out my old #DKIM and #DMARC processors, OpenDKIM / OpenDMARC, in favor of #rspamd. I can even drop Postgrey and parts of Postscreen.

Oh it's a pain to set up (you kinda have to wrap your head around hey they do configuration includes to separate site config from package config), but the all-in-one approach *with a web interface* for easy viewing is... Yeah I'm migrating.

Plus it also supports ARC, and seems to be faster at scanning than SpamAssassin.

My #rspamd can now export metrics to #Riemann. It's a bit fragile at the moment, and I need to improve Riemoon a bit, but if all goes well, I'll open a pull request within a week o so.

Went pretty smooth, all things considered. I expected it to be a little more challenging, but happy it wasn't.

Thinking about migrating my mail... a core part of my setup is #rspamd, which has both C and Lua modules. There's a metrics_exporter module, written in Lua, which can export to #Graphite, which I can consume on the #Riemann side, but... it would be nice if I could talk to Riemann directly.

Maybe I'll update my Lua bindings for my C library, and contribute a Riemann exporter to rspamd.

mal eine #rspamd Frage:
Ist es sinnvoll, in local.d/classifier-bayes.conf die Option per_user = true zu setzen? Was sind die Vor-/Nachteile? So richtig finde ich dazu nichts in der Doku.

Auf der einen Seite (so mein Eindruck) koennen per User bessere Ergebnisse erzielt werden, auf der anderen Seite trainiert das dann nur Bayes fuer den einen User und nicht fuer alle User, oder?
