Dunnock, aka Hedge Sparrow.

The word Dunnock derived from Middle English "Donek" or "Dunok" and was a form of Old German "doniklin"

Now for the interesting part -

Dunnock literally means "brownish grey".

Can't argue with that name. 🤷🏻‍♂️
