Does #Twitter (or #X) need to offer #rssfeeds, or does it need to initiate it's own #rssreader? Seeing as how both are unlikely, I operate under the assumption neither will ever happen. It seems like Elon is missing out on opportunities, though.

All my Knewz #rssfeeds are failing due to a Cloudflare connection check. It checks the connection and then displays the feed, which isn't something feed readers know how to deal with.

The Feedbro Web browser extension started picking up Twitter feeds again (it hasn't worked since June 30)... even though I still can't see Twitter profiles publicly through a Web browser - a login is still required. What wizardry is this?? 🧙🏻‍♂️

I have no opinion on whether it equated to the death of rss/atom...
It is 10 years so memory may fail me but #GoogleReader was one of the first app I could use seamlessly on my computer, iPad and phone, it was simple and it worked... yes #Feedly was / is also good but...🙂
By the way, I've recently started using #Substack for #rssfeeds and it works very well... I find that #feedly (free tier) is not so useful anymore so most of my feeds are now on Substack

I would like to get in the habit of reading more #blogs but would rather not have my email full of newsletters that I'll forget to go back to read. I'd rather be able to keep everything collected in one spot I can then browse when I want.

I used to use #Feedly way back in the day. It seems like that's still the top option?

@foxyloxy It really is a nice service. I feel like the #FeedManagement options are a little under-developed although the product is still very much in development.

I've added a small subset of my #RSSFeeds to #ReadwiseReader so far, although I tend to use it far more for saved articles and #EmailNewsletters.

I've directed almost all my newsletters to Reader and find that really helpful because I import Reader highlights into my @obsidian notes.
