Thinking about that #RTEPrimeTime on treatment of unwanted bull calves, the issue per se is not if there is cruelty or breaches of law, but that is where the eye is drawn. These are symptoms of an overburdened system that places little or no value on these animals lives.

Instead issue is why we have this grossly swollen system that is calorie intensive, water intensive, and carbon intensive and we are exporting much of the output?

Half of bull calves are exported for slaughter; other half by implication euthanised here.
