As a #ChronicPain sufferer the demonising of people for self medicating is not the solution to the problem. The drug itself is not the cause of the problem. Every drug has its risks and side effects. Aspirin thins the blood, long term nsaids have risks, paracetamol damages the liver, even Rennie has a risk.

Lack of consultants which is leaving people in pain is the problem! #rtept can bite my ass. Stop demonising people in pain and distracting people from the REAL PEOBLEM our health system.

The Prime Time report was very clear - the Climate Action Plan requires a reduction in transport emissions, the Galway City Ring Road will increase emissions; the Climate Action Plan requires 50% of trips to be by walking, cycling or public transport, the Ring Road and Galway Transport Strategy will achieve only 33%.

I look forward to seeing how the councils are going to spin those figures as compatible with the Climate Action Plan.
