So anyone tried to capture the feed coming from an (former Netgear) #arlo Q Plus. It has an ethernet port and I am at least script-kiddie enough to capture what it wants to send.
I know it's most likely not #RTSP. It's proprietary.
Anyone knows anything about #securitycameras of this sort?
Also I have no soldering iron.

Anyone know how to convince #wyze #cameras that they are online during setup without giving full internet access? I don't want to enable internet for the #IoT network every time I change configurations. (Using the #RTSP firmware, so 100% local is possible without the various cloud features.)

I could dive into setting up a #MitM network and so forth but not today.

Today is another #esp32 #microcontroller adventure. I just don't like the existing apps, and #esphome still can't stream (it only provides the <=1fps idle snapshot rate.)

I should also clean up and submit my added camera prefs to the #RTSP repo soon.
