Watching the classic Christmas shows with my kids, I realized that when I was growing up, I always felt a bit like I belonged on the Island of Misfit Toys, because I never quite fit in. Turns out there were other misfits like me out in the world! It just took a while to find them.

Rewatching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and Santa Claus is definitely the villain. He encourages everyone to ostracize Rudolph. It's only later that they warm up to him and let him pull the sleigh when they realize they can exploit his ‘handicap’.
