Everyone who is not me is a confirmed sub-citizen with greatly restricted rights and personal autonomy.
This is *bad*. This is *really bad*.
It is now ON US TO FIX IT.
Write your reps. Then call them. They need to hear the white guys voices ON THE PHONE.

As #union membership declines, income #inequality increases.
I don't know who needs this reminder, but #unions help win #policies that benefit all #workers. And where unions are weak, wealthy #corporations and their allies are more successful at pushing through policies and #legislation that hurt working people. A strong #labor movement protects workers, reduces disparities, and strengthens our #democracy.

I believe an #UninformedPublic that puts too much #power in too few hands results in #policy that appears foolish on the surface. But it is not foolish to the #RulingClass that rules over them.
#ClassConsciousness doesn't come easy though. Everyone is conditioned to expect #society to be the way it is, even members of the #media who participate in the conditioning.

I wouldn't say #PoliceOfficers are inherently #evil any more than I would say #soldiers are inherently evil. They are a product of a system that uses them as #pawns in a #PowerStruggle between opposing forces.
They are intentionally put in a position where they are forced to confront others that the #RulingClass opposes. And they are trained to #obey their #orders.
The system has its own methods of #SelfPreservation.
