I really need to move to another mail client/program. I have had runbox for years and it's nice and safe in Norway but the interface is classic 1990s and not in a good way. Both it and Gmail make me miss Outlook. Outlook!
#email #gmail #runbox

Not sure this will work and give due credit and if it doesn't, apologies @robpegoraro
@Twashe @JustineSmithies If you’re using a native mail app (imap/pop3) then #runbox is okay, but their (web)app is far behind the competition in my opinion.
@JustineSmithies Yes, FastMail is an excellent choice, I've had an account with them for many years. Also, Runbox is very good, also got an account with them, you can add a sub account to a main account, and if you sign up and pay within 24 hours, you can get 2 years for the price of 1 on most main accounts.
@jfmblinux @Nephos Perhaps also consider Runbox (Norway) for your email:
"Sign up and pay within 24h and get
2 years for the price of 1
on the Micro, Mini, Medium, and Max plans"
I have had a Runbox account for many years and have had a good working relationship with them.
@csara Same! #Runbox is one of the very few privacy-friendly EEA-only pure-FLOSS #email providers with easy setup of SPF, DKIM on custom domains. They always catch deliverability issues before I do.

@aj I've had a Runbox account for quite a few years now, although it's not my main account. Their webmail has a look that only a mother could love, but it's functional. Their support used to be very good, but recent experience with downtime, I've noticed people reporting problems on Twitter and on their own forum, and . . . eventually there would be a response from Runbox, which was disappointing. Plus point: Pay for new account and you can get 2 years for the price of one. #Runbox #email
@martinjuhasz Interesting, how do they do DKIM?
I'm quite happy with #Runbox for my #email:

Does anyone have any experience with #mailfence or #runbox?
My mailbox.org contract is up soon and both of those would be cheaper for a single custom domain. I don't have any problems with mailbox really, except maybe their 2fa, just looking around before I renew.
Any reason I shouldn't use #runbox? It's about half what I'm paying mailbox.org right now. Seems too good to be true I guess?
@eloquence Can you fill in some of the cells in https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Comparison_of_webmail_providers&oldid=1053221156#Secure_delivery and the next section? I never managed to study Fastmail in depth.
My favorite at the moment is #Runbox, although I use several others for different things.
Ich habe keine Erfahrung mit runbox. Aber unter dem Hashtag #runbox gibt es ein paar (englischsprachige) Trööts.
Anyone have any experience with #Runbox? I'm looking for a hosted IMAP email service for my domain. Right now I'm using Protonmail, and have been for a couple of years, and I still love the project... bbbbbuuuttttt... I'm sick of having to choose between using the web interface or the slow as crap bridge. Plus, I miss Roundcube and K-9 Mail. I have about a month before I have to renew. Any suggestions?
