I do wonder, like @mattrichardson notes, why #RunDisney doesn't just move to a lottery system for general race registration as most of the major races use. It's easy to send folks with guaranteed registration a link/code and then just have a general application window and drawing. It probably would reduce or eliminate the tech glitches that seem to plague registration days.

OK! All registered for the #Disneyland #HalfMarathon! The form is a bit weird. I accidentally skipped the t-shirt size question and the error only came up at the final payment step... and it told me I'd have to refresh the form and redo it. 😲

Keep in mind, you don't HAVE to enter your proof of time now. Just say you're not going to run that fast and then you can go in and edit your registration later. Just get to the confirmation step as fast as possible.

I'm curious why #runDisney opts for this live registration chaos over an asynchronous lottery with a generous entry window like how other major #marathon organizers do it.

And I mean that with earnest curiosity. I'm sure they've got a good reason for doing it this way.
