shadowrun. I was playing Necromunda with some kids in the new school and they introduced me to that guy who wanted to start a game of Shadowrun. We ended up playing Star Wars instead. We're still friends, 30 years later, we still play, but we never played #shadowrun .
Nowadays I would skip directly to #RunnersInTheShadows - it's how shadowrun was meant to be played to begin with.

The crew made it out, but only after the nefarious DrZaius420 (a Bored Hadozee™ token minter & corporate counterhacker) ID'd the crew's hacker. Later, they learned that their new companion (pictured) is a dragon from 1,000 years in the past, and that the technology that makes their world possible is stolen from other worlds through a mysterious portal over Mt. Waterdeep.

Today, my #ttrpg group did their first run as #cyberpunk criminals in future Waterdeep. They were able to steal the paydata they were after (schematics for an ansible) and destroy the only existing prototype, all without drawing too much attention. But now the security of one of the most powerful megacorporations in Toril is on high alert—can they escape?

had a kickass birthday yesterday, spent it at the local game store, got some cool stuff, and ran my first full game of #RunnersintheShadows ! It went pretty well, I was worried at first that I would be overwhelmed with some of the specificity in the game as well as the different style of playbooks and narration, but it was all very simple to execute and extremely intuitive!

Almost finished reading through #RunnersInTheShadows and I'm so very very stoked to run a game at some point. I think it has the best spell in it in all of gaming, which is certainly high praise, but just....look at it
