Yesterday was … hot. Busy. I was cranky. Morning #run didn’t happen, but I did make it to the treadmill at the end of the day, and while that’s not my fave, sometimes it’s the best option. 30 minutes on an incline setting of 4 st least works the muscles a bit… I have a feeling today will be similar. #running #RunnersOfMastodon

Do any other #runnersofmastodon have any experience with using GU Roctane Ultra Endurance Electrolyte Capsules, or something similar? Any recommendations for the best time to make use of them?
My pre-race gel (Maurten) has 35mg of sodium. I'm pairing it with a Ketone-IQ but it might help to add some electrolytes? (The first half of the race is a 6.5mi strenuous uphill climb at altitude.)
Any insights from other users of electrolyte tablets/capsules welcome.
