Today’s #baseballcard of the day is a 1960 #Topps Ted Kluszewski. Big Klu put up impressive career #stats of 279 #homeruns 1028 #rbis and a .298 #battingaverage. Best known for his days with the #cincinnatireds his greatest games may have been in the 1959 #worldseries. As a member of the #gogo #chicagowhitesox he hit 3 #homers knocked in 10 #runs and hit .391 in a losing effort. As a #coach he played a key role in developing the #bigredmachine of the 1970s. #baseball #polish

It’s been a while since I posted about taking Riley the #beagle to the park, but squirrel tracking remains her occupation (and these 3-4 mile run/walks are my weekend warmups to longer #runs). 940 followers · 3537 posts · Server beige.partySo having got in at half 1 this morning and driven my OH and 16 to the station for their whirlwind Norway minibreak, I was back just in time for #ParkRun 31 and with only a few weeks left until my 10k, I decided to do Bethlem instead of my normal FLAT course. And I have to tell you.... it.... was.... HORRIBLE! I'm glad I did it but man that was hard. I think my fitness levels have dropped off a little and with the late night it just totally kicked my butt. But I (of course) now feel like I might have actual magical powers and could levitate if I really thought hard enough. The peak of physical fitness I am not, but look - I did it, I feel pretty good and that's enough for me.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is well done to all my fellow park #runners and non park runners. Anyone that made it out or will make it out today. I salute you. Well done you. You're amazing.

Hard to believe: Not only we participate in company #runs ourselves, but we also support the #sports #teams of our #employees! In this case, Rebecca's running team got shirts for the #XLETIX 2023, where the team had to do an 18 km course with 35 obstacles.
And to the team we say: Great #performance - you can be proud of yourselves! 👍

But...I honestly cannot find any spark of interest. At the insistence of a friend I've stuck the #Ashes on in the background while I work. Can anyone offer any guidance/inspiration for me to 'get into it'? Or am I doomed to find it boring? (and I like bowls)
