#SongOfTheDay: Hand Over Fist by #Rush because it’s #RushDay #2112. One of the least-loved songs from possibly their least-loved albums, Presto, yet it keeps impressing me after over 30 years. Neil’s lyrics invoke rock/paper/scissors as a loose metaphor for communication, its hazards and rewards. From an angry “I swear you don’t listen to me” to greeting a passing stranger in some exotic land. “Feel the strength in his hand / Feel the world expand.” Presto deserves a play on a good system.
