#BonnieLangford will reprise the iconic role of Melanie Bush, Companion to the Sixth and Seventh Doctors, on the upcoming season of #DoctorWho featuring the Fifteenth Doctor played by #NcutiGatwa. Showrunner #RussellTDavis promises Langford's appearance is not just a cameo and she will be in the thick of things 'just like the old days'.

I sometimes wonder if I’m the only one not super excited about #RussellTDavis coming back to run #DrWho. Not because I think he didn’t do a good job the first time — he absolutely did — but because I like to see the show reinvent itself. New ideas, new styles, new scripts.

I’d be quite keen to see what would happen if #JamieMathieson was given a chance to write more #DoctorWho. #Flatline was wonderfully inventive. I also just read he wrote the #FAQAboutTimeTravel film, which I enjoyed.
