The Communist Party of the Russian Federation submitted a bill to the State Duma to raise a copy of the Victory Banner in schools along with the flag of the Russian Federation every Monday. This will be accompanied by the playing of the National anthem.

According to the authors, the bill was developed to develop patriotic views among young people and draw attention to the importance of studying history. "In the context of a serious aggravation of the international situation, when the collective West unleashed a hybrid war against Russia, everywhere and especially actively tries to belittle the feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, it is necessary to attract the attention of society and especially youth to the study of history, to fight against the falsification of historical truth".

The government says that using a weekly copy of the Victory Banner does not comply with the Victory Banner Act. It is also reported that this will lead to its depreciation.

Unfortunately, they probably want to teach the love of the colonialist Soviet empire rather than anything approaching the truth. This is a Soviet symbol and has been flown in Ukraine in areas where Russia has invaded so as such this can be seen as an anti-Ukrainian act. Russian media likes to forget that there were Ukrainians in the Red Army too and plenty of Ukrainian anti-Nazi resistance between 1939 and 1945. (1939 not 1941, because parts of West Ukraine were in Poland, and did not sign appeasement with the Nazis).

Basically, Angelina, who was also known as Magdelena777, Gela or "Lady Night" in various online social media, was a Russian "patriot" who posted anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

She fell to her death from the 14th-floor window of her apartment under mysterious circumstances. Her friends are not convinced it was an accident or suicide, suggesting she was thrown.

Death by falling from a balcony is a fairly common way for the Russian state to rid itself of people who have upset the authorities. I wonder who she annoyed, although I'm pretty sure we will never know.

Viacheslav Volodin, a deputy in the Russian Duma, states that Ukraine will have to pay reparations for the restoration of Donbas. I say fine. Ukraine pays for what it damaged and Russia does the same. Reparations are a great idea Slava.

He also says that Ukrainians bear collective responsibility for Ukrainian "crimes". Where have we heard that before? Remind me, who are the Nazis again?

He then goes on to say, "Perhaps only the elimination of Ukrainian statehood will secure our country." and suggests supporting the "Forum of People's Deputies of Ukraine for Decolonization" set up by Ilya Kiva, an ex-Ukrainian MP accused of criminal activity. Who is the coloniser here? Ukraine has never colonised anywhere. Russia, on the other hand... it's Orwellian levels of propaganda.

This was all reported in RT without any acknowledgement of the canard.
