What really caught my eye in one #rustnationuk talk was about going cross platform but do so by handling all state rather than also the UI. Which is a really cool and elegant approach. It maintains native performance/experience while cross platform

Really great insights from all the speakers that attended #rustnationuk. I could see the enthusiasm and its really amazing that I got to speak with such talented developers and the rust ecosystem. What a vibrant, open and welcoming community!

Ack, I just noticed that #rustnationuk had a talk from Amanieu d'Antras titled, "A tale of binary translation" about "building a simple RISC-V emulator and then making it go faster by using binary translation."

I'm somewhat regretting not going now, as that's right up my alley.
