2/ I've been #RVing for nearly 20 years now, with many trips of 3 months or more. In all that time, the single best #Campsite we ever had was the #Walmart #ParkingLot in #Whitehorse, #Yukon.

In my opinion, the best time for a #RoadTrip to #Alaska is late summer to autumn. Most of the predatory mosquitos are gone from Alaska & Yukon by then; and at least by autumn there are fewer tourists, so it's easier to get a campsite in some of the most heavily trafficked areas. It starts getting a bit chilly at night, but if you time it right, it's not enough below freezing at night to worry overly-much about freezing your holding tanks at night.

On our second Alaska trip, we were returning through Whitehorse at exactly the right time. All the campgrounds there were closed, but #Walmart welcomed #RVs in their parking lot. So we camped there overnight, and restocked for the trip south.

Yet here we are in a tripledemic and I just received the annual, completely tone deaf text invite asking for head counts for Christmas dinner at my SIL’s house and my jaw on the ground again. @kevinctofel indeed, I listen to you and Stacey when I see a topic of interest. I have my entire motor coach automated using #HomeAssistant and an #RVC to #MQTT gateway I created ( a modified version of #CoachProxy, that I also created, later open sourced as #rvcproxy ). I've added dozens of sensors, thermostats, and power monitoring outlets, as well as integrated my #VictronEnergy inverters + 20kWh of #LiPo.

#RVC is a #CANBus protocol used in #RVs for control and monitoring.

No widespread test existed PREVIOUSLY or CURRENTLY that can tell the difference between SARS-COV-2 and the flu. Prove to me most of those positives in last 18 months weren't flu or RVS. Ignore BAD SCIENCE of PCR tests... #COVID #Flu #RVS
