What a lovely rugby-filled weekend. Didn’t watch every match in full but managed to see a few minutes of some matches while watching all of others. Obviously delighted Ireland had a good start, though plenty to work on. Reffing standards have been pretty decent. From drop goals to dropped passes, from out of key anthems to out of beer stadiums, an interesting opening salvo. Thanks to all the rugby heads on mastodon for their commentary and fun comments.

The Irish performance reminded me of the 1st test against the All Blacks last year. The systems worked well for the most part, but we were let down by a few forced passes and a few unkind bounces of the ball

Romania defended really well at times, but just couldn't cope with the slickness of the Irish handling & running lines
