I saw 2 pics of Lake Mead compared. One full, one empty. I asked if the pictures were taken at the same time of yr. multiple days later of people are abusing me claiming I’m denying #climatechange.

I certainly missed and still miss my many friends and contacts on #Rwitter, some of whom have hunted up my email address and asked me to keep in touch.

I knew about Mastodon and wanted to migrate here, but had difficulty figuring out how to find a home here — aborted attempts to sign up. The process is far from opaque and a lot of doors seemed to slam shut as I tried just to sign up with a server in the federation.

I'm very happy I've found a place here.
