“Dr. Jeff Unger, an ER physician at #Saanich Peninsula Hospital, said 18 patients tested positive for #COVID19 as of Aug. 31, occupying nearly 30 per cent of beds at the hospital. Most patients at this hospital, Unger said, are over the age of 75, making them particularly vulnerable to #COVID19.”

#merlin #raptor spotted at neighbour's bird bath.
It had 2 teammates who flew down together & flushed out all the little birds at feeder & in nearby bush. One of them caught a songbird in mid air. Merlins are extremely skilled team hunters. You'll usually see more than one, working together.
