Domenica è sorto anche il sospetto che il chiudere gli occhi dell'esercito non sia stata affatto casuale. Forse gli ufficiali dell'IDF volevano davvero che i coloni facessero il lavoro per loro, punendo i palestinesi e ottenendo un effetto deterrente con un #pogrom, come aveva esortato il membro della #Knesset #ZviFogel, di #OtzmaYehudit.

Chiudere un occhio in questo modo evoca ricordi dimenticati.
L'IDF chiuse un occhio anche nel 1982 nei campi profughi palestinesi di #Sabra e #Chatila in #Libano, rendendo possibile che milizie falangiste libanesi commettessero i terribili massacri che vi si sono verificati.
Non c'è stato nessun massacro a #Hawara, non ancora, ma nessuno poteva sapere in anticipo come sarebbero andate le cose. ⬇5
