Very Relevant. Looking after a90yr old FiL,
&have a 90 yr old Step mum(whom I Can’t get even Speak to. As the Sister/her Daughter, Won’t let me cos I Haven’t been down Since COVID,(I’m In&outta hospital’s). She Doesn’t Believe I’m I’ll.😏 They’ve an Extremely Toxic relationship. Can’t life with/Can’t live without!

I ate dinner at a local restaurant last night. The owner said they were closing because of #Brexit. Can't get staff, food imports too difficult, electricity costs soaring higher than they did in EU.

There was more -- and in a way more disturbing. She is a Pole with British citizenship who has been here for 30 years. Since Brexit, she says she has experienced a lot of abuse. She never did before. #sad #Brexitbollocks #brokenbritain #crumblingbritain

@SabrosiaVit @wineworldnews It's going to be an interesting world, all other non-wine issues aside. I love Cabernet Sauv, probably my fave grape. But not big, jammy super-ripe Cab Sauv. Had one from Calif. recently next to an elegant Bordeaux and couldn't drink the Calif wine (bordering 16 points). One taster who liked it loved the "flavor," but there was no nuance or freshness. It tasted like a melted candy bar to me. No longer my style. #sad #wine

#pagan duly noted 🍸 Reading a lot about if or when people (old friends, now ex) will wake up, if ever because of the state of the country. The answer is...I don't know. I don't get it. No one likes to admit when they have been conned, but it happens. My #SAD is really kicking in - back end of August, like clockwork. I’ve stopped exercising, gained weight and mostly just want to sleep. Social interactions are starting to feel difficult. #Depression and #anxiety are gradually ramping up. Think I’ll increase my antidepressant. Need to eat more healthily and cut out alcohol again too. Must also drag myself to the pool for exercise. Poor #mentalhealth sucks.
