#SafeSearch: #Google lässt Bilder blurren und aus der Suche löschen | heise online https://www.heise.de/news/Safe-Search-Google-laesst-Bilder-blurren-und-aus-der-Suche-loeschen-9233734.html
Every major browser started blocking my personal family website saying that it contained phishing asking for private information. I checked and there was nothing visible, no externally loaded #javascipt and the local code's files all matched their original hashes.
No one had broken in.
Turns out that #Google had set "#SafeSearch" to do this to any #Yunohost site they were aware of (eg emailed to a Gmail account).
With that they blocked Yunohost sites from every major browser.

Google has debuted a new default SafeSearch setting, somewhere between "on" and "off," that automatically blurs explicit images in search results for most people.
Unless you're logged in and over 18, don't expect to find violent or racy stuff.

Congrats to folks on my team who added #blurring as an option to #Google #search for #explicit imagery.
Now you have a third choice in how explicit imagery appears in search results.
With this new #SafeSearch settings, results containing explicit imagery will still appear on the search results page, but they will be blurred out.
You can still click through to see the result, or turn off this blurring.

#DuckDuckGo @DuckDuckGo could probably rethink their #SafeSearch algorithm 😂 (screenshot from https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffcm&q=blue+tit&ia=web)
