While idea of a safety car that's fair makes sense on paper it sadly doesn't work in real life. The entire process is confusing, complicated and most importantly it takes forever.
How about the Nurburgring 24h approach (or similar) with 60km/h zones just where the danger is which seems to be the fairest solution I've seen but ensures non stop action somewhere on the track?

He was so much faster then anyone all weekend. #Safetycar is probable, so if the is a large gap, it will be nullified at some point. #Checo and #Alonso are perhaps more likely winners.
