"Issued for Gorge Rd, Main Ridge Track, Lodge Track, Pinkerton Gully Road, Montacute and Castambul near Athelstone in the Mount Lofty Ranges.

This scrub fire is burning in both a Southerly and Easterly direction towards the Montacute Quarry and Gorge Road, Castambul. Conditions are continually changing.

CFS expects an increase in the wind at about 4:30pm. This may cause the fire activity to escalate..."

it seems the climate scientists were right, these fires are going to become a regular annual part of our summers in australia 😔. Praying for the people in the Adelaide Hills South Australia, being hit with extreme fires just over a year after the last ones 🙏
