HOW DARE YOU. Forget the fact that you should be sued for that... HOW DARE YOU steal an actor's likeness while they're on strike because the studio execs won't pay them and want to do THE SAME THING (steal their likeness with AI). You're not just violating ethics — you're a second-rate villain at that point.

607 followers · 2988 posts · Server hcommons.socialOne of the most telling things about the state of the media industry in the wake of the writers’ and actors’ strikes is the lockstep loyalty to the status quo in the CEO class and the dearth (so far) of any significant strategic (i.e. well-funded) alternatives to either Hollywood or Silicon Valley economics.
All that seems to matter to studio “leadership” now is an extractive race to quarterly profits, and they’d rather burn it all down before they change it.
