My baby is at the "bottomless pit" stage of development, so now I'm struggling to make enough food for the both of us at any given moment. Doesn't help that we both get hangry. He's yelling at me and I'm trying to be mature about the whole thing before sneaking into the kitchen for food later. #Parenting #SAHM #GrowingPains

Growing up, my #neighbors and my #family worked together. Together we maintained a large vegetable #garden, processed and preserved food, and in general helped each other.

There's an expectation that you're a more beneficial provider to your home by bringing in an income, so that's what you should WANT to do, but I'd love to argue that skills for jobs you're currently outsourcing can be self taught and are absolutely valuable, and even increase in value if you pass them on.

I love going to giant warehouses that have been turned into indoor play areas for kids. They always wear my kids out, and convince me that we could somehow also fit a playground, gymnastics gear and at least 2 climbing ropes into our basement.

Pretty sure the baby is hitting a growth spurt or something. His usual 35-40 minute naps have stretched to an hour+. If it ain't one thing, it's another with this kid.
