Lost a shackle yesterday, when setting up the #sailboat . So I fixed it the way sailors have fixed things for millennia, with a bit of rope!
Use it up, make do, fix it up, or do without!
So far it's survived 15kt winds and an unplanned jibe. Seems like it'll hold.
