Started off just mucking up getting to bed an hour earlier than the previous few nights by getting to bed nearly two hours later 🤦 ✖️ many.
Little did I know that insomnia was waiting for me.
My over active mind has had me clutching at straws for solving a major (for me) problem with #SailfishOS and no joy installing any rpm file TTS.
Why is it a bug bear? I need it so I can at last fully ditch my old android and actually use my sailfish phone for sat nav duty.

This insomnia is a bit shit too, feels like it's just phoning it in as the tiredness and sleep claws round the edges at me. My eyes could definitely sleep. Just wish my brain would join them.

@moare Ich denke, dass wird schwierig. Die üblichen "Verdächtigen" wie #LineageOS oder #Sailfish scheiden aus. Vielleicht hilft ja auch schon eine Installation ohne Google-Konto mit #Netguard und #F-Droid weiter.

This sounds so appealing, @cyberlyra. A cursory investigation suggests that it's tricky to get #Sailfish on a Jolla (or another) device in the USA. with ATT (or another) carrier. What resources would you recomment for the US-based Sailfish-curious?

I really want to use #Jolla #Sailfish more. I like the basic design elements in it and most stuff works fine. I think the main problem I have is the scroll delay, particularly in the browser, but it is everywhere in the system. Been there from version 1 and never really resolved.

Trying to find, download and install all the apps & tools you need to get a usable Satnav on a Sailfish phone is like hitting your head against a brick wall though I think hitting my head against a brick wall is much easier & possibly a little less painful.
