Le tribunal municipal de #Moscou a ordonné vendredi 18 août la dissolution de l’association Centre #Sakharov, un des derniers piliers de la défense des droits humains en #Russie. Au printemps dernier, l’association avait déjà dû quitter ses locaux historiques à Moscou. Un déménagement hautement symbolique, auquel avait assisté le correspondant du « '#LeMonde », #BenoîtVitkine.

MOSCOW — Vladimir Putin’s wartime purge of liberals and human rights activists has forced the #Sakharov Center, a museum and cultural space in Moscow, to close as the #Kremlin rips up the legacy of rights defenders like Sakharov, who died in 1989, and destroys organizations dedicated to #justice and #freedom.
The center held its final public event last month and now has to dismantle its exhibition focused on the repressions of the Soviet #gulag .

#Putin speaks about #Russia and it's future, that Russia needs to become better on science (I hope there will be more #Sakharov in the future).
The #Soviet school system worked and Russia should return to it, so that students can read fake history and learn to use weapons.
Russia will need a million more to work with transport to get weapons into occupied Ukraine.
