テインセイン大統領の「民政移管」後、ヤンゴンに進出する外国企業が増加した。
ヤンゴンの真ん中、一等地に建つサクラ・タワーに事務所を借りるのが、ある種、進出企業のステータスシンボルにもなっていたような。
