Some Nordic alchemy, had two half eaten bags of #TyrkiskPeber that had become really sticky (salmiak, ammonium chloride, NH4CL, is very hygroscopic) and dissolved them in slightly diluted vodka to make a #Salmari 🇫🇮/ #Salmiakki clone. Some microwaving to heat it all up to dissolve things faster. Now cooling...

When visiting the #Netherlands as a child, I would always buy salty #licorice on the market. Years later I discover that it also exists in a liquid form with 34% alcohol - meet #Finland's #Salmiakki liquor. Makes for a perfect combination with beer.
