#Salmon #farms harm native salmon stocks – and the #marine, #freshwater, and #terrestrial #biodiversity that they support.

In 2019 the #Canadian government promised to end the practice, but that hasn’t happened yet. There are still dozens of farms, and there are indications that the government will go back on its #promises.
