When the weather is fine we attend an outdoor #milonga (#tango social dance) at the home of our #tangoteacher. Dancing en plein air is a very healthy way to exercise, but not for #hayfever sufferers obviously. 😜

Edinburgh has a well established #tangocommunity now and an annual festival run by Jenny and Ricardo Oria the time-served adorable husband and wife team.

Actually most UK major towns and cities have a steadfast tango hub. Here in Swansea we have both #salontango and #tangonuevo although I can't boast too much about the nuevo set-up, as I'm not impressed with the people involved in running it.

To build legacy we need to reach younger people.

Steve is a skillful #tangoteacher and in this video helps us to understand the #tangophrases and #tangothemes in the music, which if absorbed and applied makes for a truly enriched #tangodance experience.

Today's #milonga experience will be different and is expected to draw hundreds to a village hall on the outskirts of #Cardiff #Caerdydd It's the 80th birthday celebration of a gentleman who can be recorded as having had the strongest influence on #tango in #Wales. Mike Fussell brought #tangodancing to us decades ago and has been a stalwart in the task of teaching generations of people the beautiful art of #salontango
