I have been saving this all week for #FensterFreitag #FensterFriday #WindowFriday. In fact, you all inspired it!
I took it at breakfast on our day off, Monday, in #CowichanBay before we went to #SaltSpringIsland to play tourist. In the background is #MountMaxwell on Salt Spring. If you didn't know why they all laughed when we said we were tourists all the way from Cowichan Bay, now you do!

I bought 2 new tops.I've gained so much weight since my hips stopped working, that dressing is no fun anymore. But the salesladies helped me find 2 really nice long tops that cover all my lumps &look pretty good ! Then we took the ferry to Victoria, dinner at the Green Elephant & a drive over the Malahat in the dark!

I've visited #SaltSpringIsland in #BritishColumbia a number of times. I photographed a lot of #wildflowers at Ruckle Provincial Park including this Fairy Slipper #Orchid (Calypso bulbosa var. occidentalis). I'd not seen one before, so considering it was only about 5cm high, I was fortunate to spot it!

Another #photograph from my Top 10 of 2022 post (link below). This #photo was one I made on #SaltSpringIsland in #BritishColumbia earlier in 2022. Ruckle Provincial Park is a large park on the southern part of the island, and I try to visit there on each trip. Ruckle Heritage Farm is part of the park. Here a Jersey cow named Alison is grazing in front of the David Henry Ruckle barn built in 1935.
