Update:
- Corrected to reflect that the Timex Computer 2048 never existed out of the lab. Timex Portugal did pursue that project further and produced the #TC2068 independently after the Timex Sinclair joint venture fell apart. Most TC2068s were sold in Poland.
- Added the glaring omissions of the #ZX80 and the #SinclairQL.
Somebody told me to delete the Spectrum Next but this is about recorded history. What exists, exists.

Even against a densely textured background, the quick reference design of Timex/Sam spaceship that I made in a few minutes could still look relatively decent. And it would look better on a ZX Spectrum Next.

This would be a perfectly viable spaceship sprite using the #TimexSinclair 2068 and #SamCoupe mode 2 with 256 x 192 pixels @ 32 x 192 colour resolution.

One of my favourite manuals was the SAM Coupé User's Guide.
The SAM was a UK 8-bit computer launched in 1989. It had a palette of 128 colours. The author, Mel Croucher, named them all.
