The final Harry Potter quilt is finished 😊
A friend donated a bundle of Harry Potter fabrics so I added some fabrics of my own and bought a metre extra of the crest design and made 5 quilt tops in varying sizes 😃. They'll certainly brighten up the ward 💛

I've now finished both of these incubator quilts made from a pair of donated lightweight cotton curtains. I've got another pair too so expect to see more eventually 😄 There's more left over too that will be incorporated into more quilts 😊

Two more quick incubator quilt tops made - that's it...for now 😊 The fabric is from 2 pairs of lightweight cotton curtains which were donated by a lady I worked with a couple of years ago. So now let the quilting begin 😃💛

Every year my daughter and I deliver handmade quilts to two children's hospitals in Manchester - Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and St Mary's NICU in memory of her baby son Sam who passed away 5 years ago. We have six bags full with a total of 89 ready to go tomorrow just in time to comfort children who unfortunately have to be in hospital over Christmas 💛

These photos are from our last delivery of over 60 quilts to Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and St Mary's NICU in April. We have the same amount to deliver this Christmas too! I must add that they are not all mine - some are also donated by friends 😊. Photos show the nurses on Ward 85 at and along with myself, my daughter and Sam's younger brother Myles 💕

Apart from making my own quilts I also make them for children in two local hospitals - Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and St Mary's NICU. Sadly we lost our 15 month old grandson from a heart condition 5 years ago and this is our way of giving back for the amazing care he received there. 💛
