This time, I had luck with dtlapse, it was able to create a nice WB curve. The trick was not to open the non-keyframes in #darktable before running dtlapse, and only to apply the other filters after that.

There was quite a #thunderstorm last night!
I set up the camera, but forgot to tune for underexposure. In the end, a handful of the 100+ shots were white, but I got a few overexposed but acceptable shots. Some extreme #Darktable corrections of exposure, filmic RGB and base curves gave me seven usable pictures. The result is a lighten-blend of those.

Von Donnerstag auf Freitag war der Himmel ausnahmsweise klar. Grund genug, die Kamera über Nacht arbeiten zu lassen!
Hier ein Helligkeits-Stack von 148 Bildern (1h 14m, davor/danach sind deutliche Fliegerspuren drin) mit einer Menge Sterne, einem Halo des Großraums Köln (👋 @juergenlibertus) und einem glücklich getroffenen Perseiden.

Mein erster (und gescheiterter) Versuch des Natur-Foto-Stackings mit Hugin. Durch die leichte Brise war keine der Stacking-Serien ganz aufeinander. Das Ergebnis ist also ein manueller Stack in Gimp mit handgezeichneten Ebenen-Masken, bestehend aus drei Bildern. Die Tiefenschärfe des 60mm-Makro-Objektivs bei Offenblende ist hinterhältig klein!

Dear @darktable, how do I get rid of the dirt spots in post? (Yeah, I know, clean the lens for small apertures). Retouch/heal doesn't scale to 300+ individual images, blur looks strange in the video, retouch/fill lightens them up when the cloud isn't over the spot. Any chance to rescue that?
