I usually sand my #epoxy #resin pieces to a gloss but I am so sick of #sanding that I tried finishing a set of magnet sliders with UV resin. I sanded the surface up to 600 grit and then cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol. After curing, the top coat instantly delaminated when I pulled the masking tape off the edges. If you're creating dust or fumes, having a place with outside air supply and roof, or strong air filtration, is essential. I've used bathrooms and kitchens with exhaust fans, garages, and screen porches. Some 3D printer folks have literal fume hoods. It's essential to your health, just like #PPE.

🪚 I bought unfinished wood in order to make my own desk for my office. Here I'm cutting a grommet hole. It's my first time doing something like this but you gotta start somewhere.
Also, sanding can join motorcycling as surprisingly stress relieving tasks.
