Found this book for a great price today at Green Apple Books. Used but in like new condition with plastic book cover. The Visalia Electric started in 1908 offering both freight and passenger service in southeastern San Joaquin valley. But by 1924 everyone was driving their Ford Model Ts and the railway abandoned passenger service. Freight service continued into the 1980s.
