#Polyrhythm moment! The studio version of "Kouzin" is much more deliberate than the live rendition (following post). In it I hear eighths in common time against eighths in 6/8.

There is also a totally different vocalist in the live version. This tune from Afro-Caribbean French artist Schwarz-Bart is on my #Sankofa playlist (of the African diaspora).
