"C#[konˈtePpartiˈrɔ]n te partirò" (#Italian: [kon ˈte ppartiˈrɔ]; "With You I Shall Depart") is an Italian song written by #FrancescoSartori (music) and #LucioQuarantotto (lyrics). It was first performed by #AndreaBocelli at the 1995 #SanremoMusicFestival and recorded on his album of the same year, Bocelli. The single was first released as an #Aside single with "#Vivere" in 1995, topping the charts, first in France.

I love the way that Sanremo's format allows you to slowly fall in love with the songs over the week.
After two performances and having listened to Radio Italia's Sanremo stream all day, Ultimo, I Cugini di Campagna, Anna Oxa, and Gianmaria's songs are starting to emerge from the pack, to my ears. There's still plenty of time for other songs to join them.

Gotta be honest, when I Cugini di Campagna came out on Tuesday, looking like glam baked potatoes, I was quite prepared to dismiss them as a joke act. Over the last couple of days, though, I've listened to Lettera 22 a few times and it's really grown on me. Those harmonies are irrestible and the chorus absolutely soars.

It doesn't take a lot for Sanremo to go off the rails but that was a spectacular effort from Blanco. 😂 Even Amadeus had to acknowledge that we've just had this year's Bugo/Morgan moment.

I love it when they wander out into the environs of the Teatro Ariston. Such mid-century beauty.

Less than 24 hours til the start of the 73rd Sanremo Music Festival, and I'm getting excited listening to some of my favourite entries and winners from recent years. Honestly, I love this week so much and can't wait to discover a new batch of songs to add to my playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1EkXN4sHjiHqO1naGqYdcV?si=5527cd09f98d4f50
