The dam is the major source of #irrigation in the #IlocosRegion (Region 1), supplying water to about 32,000 hectares of farmlands spread across 14 towns and cities in #Pangasinan.

The San Roque Dam water level is now at 233.26 meters above sea level (masl) – far below its 280 masl normal high-water level. If the dam dips to 225 masl then #hydropower electricity production will stop as well.
