I have made peace with and come to love my clanky rock/metal bass sounds
The #SansAmp was the first pedal I wanted when I started playing #BassGuitar in 99. When I told my little brother (a much better player than me, btw) I'd finally acquired one in 2019, he told me "a lot of old guys like that sound" so I went no contact and I do miss him but I'm only 5 years older
--ANYWAY, if you'd rather do it in software, this lovely free #vst gets remarkably close.
Somebody said my part on a track sounded like Geezer Butler last week and I am still riding that high
(I mean, it's 90% the #SansAmp, but still)

Links oben bei Bedarf noch ein Line6-Funk-Empfänger.
Aktuell dann tce Sentry Noisegate über die komplette Effektschleife, Pitchblack-Tuner -> Billig-Kompressor -> the Glove (als leichte Zerre) -> OD-3 als Booster -> Modulation Chorus/Echo -> Sansamp (3 Kanäle) -> Hartke Topteil / 4x10-Box (Vx).

I forgot a few other pedals, too!
The #SansAmp was one of my first purchases, and something I'd wanted since I first started playing in 2000. I don't use it much lately, except just as a DI box.
The #piStomp is a special kind of #raspberryPI awesome. Fun soldering project, not as hard as some amateur radio kits I've done.

And the #PedalShieldUno from #ElectroSmash (RIP) was a fun #Arduino project for lo-fi sounds.
