The last time I dipped into #Sansar it was when I first got set up with PCVR (I’d originally tried it before then of course, grabbing my SL main name there), so a year or so back I think. It was a ghost town of broken tutorials and not much more.
So seeing this email come through I was hopeful things might be improving. I click on the first link in the email and… it’s dead. Not responding. 🤦🏻♀️
I swear every time I’ve given Sansar a chance it’s never failed to disappoint.

I also more recently subscribed to #Sansar, but having wandered around it a few times I really didn't get on with it - and my most recent visit found a totally empty environment. Sad.
Idea: VR/AR won't take off without a means of publicly-accessible asynchronous communication. What newsgroups and the WWW were for desktops and laptops, what microblogging and video hosting sites have been for smartphones, something like those media has to come for VR/AR devices.
The closest I've seen to asynhronous VR/AR are virtual world servers like #SecondLife and #OpenSim. #Sansar might - might - come through when its released.
