Came home to this scene after 2 eucalyptus trees fell in #SantaAnaWinds onto the homes directly next door to me and @annemofarrell, just barely missing our home while flattening 2 garages and 3 cars. Incredibly, no injuries. Place was crawling with reporters for hours but I haven't seen any footage on the local sites. #CAwx I put my drone up when I got home and captured this footage. https://vimeo.com/793219957

#California wildfires break out amid powerful #SantaAnaWinds

On Monday, in Southern California the fire danger was rapidly ramping up with #grassland #fires and other spot fires popping up around #LosAngeles County as winds gust to 70 mph and above. One fire in Irvine, Calif., in Orange County, prompted the evacuation of about 60,000 as fierce winds spread flames and smoke horizontally across the landscape. The fire threatens numerous homes.
