It is Santa Claus Parade Day in Toronto!
First started by Eaton's in 1905, it is the oldest Santa Claus Parade in the world. At the end of the parade, Santa climbed up a ladder onto a platform at the Eaton's Store.
Eaton's association with the parade ended in 1982.
